Depreciation 'often forgotten' by car loans customers
29/04/2008
Drivers looking to use their car loans to buy a vehicle that will have limited depreciation have been given some advice.
According to a recent article for Forbes Autos, there are a number of things for people to consider when shopping for a new or used car as the cost of ownership can often be significantly affected by a car's resale value.
John Paul, manager of public affairs for AAA of Southern New England, told the news provider that depreciation is an area that many people often do not consider and warned that they do so at their peril.
"Sometimes the cheapest car isn't always the best deal, especially when it comes time to trade it in," he said.
Forbes recently published a list of some of the least expensive cars to own - among them were the Honda Civic DX, the Hyundai Accent GS and Toyota's Yaris.
