SUV for cost conscious car loan customers
30/06/2008
French car manufacturer Citreon has developed a new SUV C-Crosser range for car loan customers that like a more powerful engine and are looking for "even more value for money".
Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) offers drivers improved efficiency, better fuel consumption and performance which add up to cost savings.
The manufacturers say 25 per cent of SUV drivers opt for automatic transmission so the CVT will appeal to a number of drivers.
Citreon say that its C-Crosser provides "the convenience of an automatic, with an infinite number of ratios, together with the driver involvement of a manual", which comes from the "Sport Mode" function.
Those SUV drivers concerned about safety should be reassured to learn that the car comes with many safety features as standard such as ABS with EBD and ESP and six airbags.
Although the Citreon is pitched as a low priced vehicle, it comes with "a high level of standard equipment" such as cruise control, sensitive headlights and a split tailgate.
