Car loan customers thinking about taking out buying a campervan for the summer might want to do like the Sunday Times and cruise around the British coastline.
The team at the Times is planning a six-week summer feature which will take them to beaches and holiday destinations that have been recommended to them by readers.
Chris Haslam, the Sunday Times travel writer, spoke about his choice to take the Volkswagen California around the coast: "When you think of a campervan it's always a Volkswagen'.
He continued: 'The California is a worthy successor to the iconic Volkswagen camper. It's the perfect vehicle for this road trip and it’s going to hurt to hand it back when the circumnavigation is over.'
California campers would be able to take advantage of two double beds, an electrically operated pop-up roof, cooker, fridge and sink, plus two folding chairs and a portable table which are stored at the back of the van.
