Will the success of Mazda sales encourage car loan customers to buy Japanese?
28/05/2008
A Japanese car giant today (May 28th) announced a huge increase in production and it seems car loan customers are keen to buy as exports to Europe have increased significantly.
Mazda announced that the success of its latest models has helped to lift production at its factories by 23.1 per cent in April compared to the same time last year.
Overall overseas production was up 24.7 per cent compared to figures for 2007 due to an increased demand for the Mazda6, BT-50 and the Mazda 3.
Europe topped the list of areas that Mazda increased exports to and demand for the Japanese cars is clearly high as there has been a 92.6 per cent year-on-year increase.
Mazda are obviously keen to be seen as a caring company as well as a profitable one. Yesterday (May 27th) the company announced that they will donate £184,000 to help victims of the Sichuan Province earthquake.
